Fresh Voices presents rehearsed readings of new writing for television by writers new to television. The audience for a Peer Review event is drawn exclusively from the industry and consists of writers, directors, producers and actors. After the reading there is a moderated Q & A session where the audience of peers give their immediate feedback on the script. This gives the writer feedback from people who work with scripts every day. The writer then takes this valuable feedback and puts it into the next draft. The aim is to develop writers through the Peer Review process and take them onto the Fresh Voices at BAFTA events which showcase their work to the industry decision-makers.
The first event will be early 2014.
